Painting apples loosely

Over the past few months I've been studying watercolour painting techniques. One of my main issues with watercolours is managing to keep the paints looking fresh, with minimal brush strokes. My favourite artist that manages this effortlessly is Rosie Webb. Inspired by her article illustrated below, Ive attempted to adopt her style of painting.
